I did manage to use a joystick mapper to get it to work, but honestly, this shouldn't be an issue. My driver can tell what the correct inputs are, and even what the brand of the controller is, why can't the game?
Just because it's not a 3rd party controller and not the official 360 controller, the controls are broken due to limited control rebind-ability. I can't even walk because movement is relative to the camera. That is my whole problem, the fact that it is literally unplayable because the camera controls are tied to LT and RT, with the default position of LT and RT being stuck in the + direction, meaning the camera spends down and to the left constantly unless I hold down LT and RT just right. It's not letting me bind anything to the actual LT and RT, because I am pretty sure it is treating each as an axis to a joystick. Changing the camera controls aren't even listed as an option, not even greyed out, it just isn't there. Yes, indeed I should be able to change them to the proper buttons, but I am not.
